Job Description

We are seeking a Functional Consultant with expertise in nCino to join our client's team supporting a project for a Financial Services client. This role focuses on understanding business needs, gathering requirements, and designing solutions that enhance user experiences. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the nCino platform meets organizational goals while delivering tangible value to end users.

This is a remote contract opportunity with a 6 month initial contract length. There is a high likelihood of extension. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with business users to gather and document functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate user story creation by working with stakeholders to articulate needs in a way that drives development.
• Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for nCino functionalities, focusing on areas such as Loan Origination, Deposit Account Servicing, Treasury Management
• Partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable configurations within nCino.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Serve as the voice of the customer during sprint reviews to validate that deliverables meet business expectations.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test scripts and coordinating feedback sessions with stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions align with end-user needs and address pain points effectively.
• Design and deliver training sessions tailored to end-user roles, focusing on practical use cases.
• Collaborate with change management teams to ensure smooth adoption and transition to the nCino platform.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in nCino implementations.
• Strong knowledge of financial services processes, including lending, treasury, and deposit account operations.
• Expertise in writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and supporting agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills for facilitating stakeholder workshops and presenting solutions.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and clear user stories.
