Job Description

Our client is looking for an Insurance Sales Agent (Account Executive) to build new sales that is efficient, sustainable, and relentless. Candidates will be challenged to develop the client base of various national initiatives. The ideal candidate is ambitious, innovative, and professional with natural skills in developing and maintaining effective relationships with customers. 

This is a remote role open to candidates residing in BC, AB, MB, or QB.

As a member of their team, your role will be to develop new customer acquisitions from various company initiatives. Most of these initiatives will target personal lines customers, of which you will be tasked to review their needs and provide adequate coverage and identify any cross-selling insurance products.

The client is passionate about growth and innovation, and obsessive about providing outstanding service to their clients. If you naturally excel in sales and have excellent communication skills, you are the perfect candidate to join their team! Here is what a typical day looks like:
  • Sees to business development for the organization.
  • Must be available to take-on incoming calls and successfully sell new policies.
  • Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.
  • Remain up to date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers.
  • Continue self-development through industry and training and other courses.
Qualifications:
  • You have your damage insurance PL brokerage license; CL is brokerage license is an asset.
  • Bilingual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in a business development/sales/producer role.
  • Previous experience in sales OR interest in a sales career.
  • Competitively developed.
  • Resilient team spirit determined to achieve results.
  • Desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Demonstrated and effective analytical skills with a strong work ethic.
  • Resilient team spirit determined to achieve results.
  • A minimum of post-secondary education. An AEC in insurance and or other business programs is considered an asset.
  • French considered an asset (required for roles based in QB)
