Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Total Rewards and Compensation Specialist to join our client on a full time permanent basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our total rewards strategies. This is an exciting opportunity working in a hybrid model, 2 days onsite downtown Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to analyze compensation trends and maintain competitive pay structures.
- Develop and administer salary surveys to support organizational decision-making.
- Perform comprehensive job evaluations to ensure accurate classification and alignment with organizational structures.
- Collaborate with managers and HR partners to create, review, and revise job descriptions.
- Lead initiatives to analyze and address pay equity within the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide recommendations to address gaps and maintain equitable compensation practices.
- Support the development and implementation of total rewards programs, including salary, benefits, incentives, and recognition initiatives.
- Partner with HR and leadership to align total rewards programs with the organization’s goals and employee value proposition.
- Ensure compensation programs comply with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Update policies and procedures as required to reflect evolving trends and legal requirements.
