Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Growth:
- Identifying, prospecting, and generating new business opportunities to reach sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Building networks and spheres of influence to grow prospect lists.
- Prospecting and building relationships in new areas of business within existing accounts to expand wallet share.
- Owning a portfolio of accounts, focusing on accounts that currently utilize only one line of business and strategically expanding these relationships.
- Identifying and targeting new accounts with multi-line-of-business potential to grow the Altis portfolio.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Setting account growth plans by gaining a deep understanding of client needs and motivations, developing tailored strategies for growth.
- Collaborating with large MSPs to create scalable solutions and build long-term partnerships by understanding each client’s vendor management framework.
Volume Accounts & Relationship Building:
- Mushrooming within key accounts by fostering strong relationships with senior-level contacts to increase wallet share.
- Determining whether additional Account Managers are needed for specific volume businesses.
- Monitoring revenue trends and creating strategies to grow market share within designated focus areas.
- Targeting Key Decision-Makers in Enterprise Accounts:
- Identifying and engaging with C-suite executives and VP-level decision-makers to ensure long-term engagement and expansion within large enterprise accounts.
Strategic Client Engagement:
- Acting as a lead contact for contract negotiations and renewal processes while collaborating with the Contract Success team.
- Partnering with Account Managers during key client meetings to represent Altis and uncover multi-line-of-business opportunities.
- Actively cross-selling and introducing clients to relevant business lines while building connections through engaging LinkedIn content.
- Enhancing Service Offerings for Large Clients:
- Customizing Altis’ services to meet the complex needs of large MSPs and enterprise clients, ensuring flexibility and scalability.
- Driving service adoption by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within large client organizations.
Mentorship & Strategic Portfolio Oversight:
- Mentoring Account Managers on strategic client meetings, helping them identify and leverage multi-line-of-business opportunities.
- Working toward building a second Strategic Account portfolio of accounts for oversight and strategic growth.
- Negotiating Complex Contracts with Enterprise Clients:
- Overseeing negotiations for large MSAs, ensuring favorable terms for Altis while positioning the company to meet long-term client needs.
Industry Expertise & Branding:
- Demonstrating expertise by marketing top talent to prospective clients and addressing their hiring needs effectively.
- Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals showcasing Altis’ services.
- Actively participating in industry events, conferences, and career fairs to increase visibility and grow the customer pipeline.
- Staying informed on labor market trends and recruitment challenges to provide clients with insights and effective advice.
Technology & Reporting:
- Maximizing sales tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and track leads.
- Validating and updating CRM data, preparing reports on goals, sales, and prospect engagement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relatable sales, business development, or sales strategy experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Background in the staffing or recruitment industry required
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong business development and account management skills, including the ability to identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, engage, and negotiate effectively with senior-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships and networks with clients and key decision-makers
- Strategic thinking skills, with a focus on identifying growth opportunities and developing tailored strategies to expand wallet share within accounts
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and renewal processes
- Adept at cross-selling and upselling services, with experience identifying multi-line-of-business opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools for managing client data and generating sales reports
- Strong working knowledge of sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo for lead generation and tracking
- Results-driven and highly motivated with a strong sense of accountability
