Job Opportunity: Application Support Technician

Duration: December 2024 – September 2025
Location: Onsite

About the Role: Altis Technology is looking for a Application Support Technician for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government clients. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st level desktop technical support including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and peripherals.
  • Perform on-site verification and lifecycle management activities, replacing over 8,000 non-compatible workstations.
  • Handle trouble tickets, providing problem resolution and follow-up.
  • Support Win 11 deployment to over 32,000 workstations.
  • Utilize ITSM tools for problem tracking and resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 1 year experience within the last 5 years in an IT enterprise environment supporting at least 1000 Win 10 clients.
  • 1 year experience within the last 5 years in troubleshooting, installing, and supporting (1st line support) desktop support.
  • 1 year experience within the last 5 years in a trouble-ticket/service desk-based environment as part of a team.
