Job Description
Our Federal government client is seeking an
Organization Design and Classification Consultant to join them on a remote 1-year contract on an as-and-when-required basis.
Scope of work:
- Reviewing current non-Executive and Executive job descriptions and recommending appropriate changes;
- Reviewing and evaluating new or revised job descriptions;
- Participating in or chairing non-Executive and Executive Classification Committees, as required, and preparing supporting documentation such as rationales;
- Participating in meetings with client senior management, Organizational Design and Classification (ODC), Central Agency, and other stakeholders, as required;
- Researching and preparing classification relativity studies; and
- Researching and developing policies, guidelines, procedures and tools.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A valid Accreditation in Classification.
- Has completed 4 projects in 5 of the following areas: Performing organizational design analysis, Preparing comparative (relativity) analysis, Providing advice and guidance on organizational structure and classification issues (non-EX and EX), Updating existing non-EX and EX work descriptions, and Preparing new non-EX and EX work.
- Has completed 4 projects in 4 of the following areas: Conducting desktop and on-site reviews, Conducting relativity search and reports, Critiquing and evaluating non-EX work and EX work descriptions, and Preparing full classification rationales
