Job Description

Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Top Secret cleared Project Manager for an IT Infrastructure modernization project. This is an ONSITE long-term contract opportunity that will support the modernization of various mission-critical IT Infrastructures across the department.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Support the Program Manager/Director in the planning, development and execution of the projects by developing project related documents for the implementation of the various IT infrastructure related projects and initiatives or for the implementation of custom-build and/or COTS application solutions. 
2. Effect knowledge transfer with team members on project management-based approaches on practical application during project planning and execution, for the purpose of providing project team members with additional knowledge and skills in the management and execution of IT related projects;
3. The resources will be the primary contact for all project related information, status and issues, as applicable;
4. Manage project objectives and scope and determine schedule and deliverables, based on input from the project sponsor, key stakeholders and team members using the Atlassian suite (JIRA and Confluence) of collaborative tools;

Qualifications and Skills

• 10+ years of experience of IT Project Management 
• 3+ years of experience working on inter-departmental projects 
• 3+ years of Agile project management experience
• VALID Top Secret Federal government clearance

Education

A relevant degree/diploma is required
