Our client is seeking a passionate HR Specialist, Projects and Programs who excels at turning innovative ideas into impactful, actionable programs. This is a contract opportunity running into July 2025. This exciting contract position, offers a hybrid position in Kanata, ON.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the creation, implementation, and ongoing management of high-impact HR programs, including compensation, performance and talent management, succession planning, onboarding, DEI, employee engagement, and wellness initiatives.
- Work directly with the executive and HR leadership teams to brainstorm, design, and launch new initiatives that address key business needs.
- Craft impactful employee experiences through every stage of the journey, from onboarding to career development.
- Analyze engagement surveys, program data, and other key metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present clear, compelling reports and presentations to stakeholders at all levels. Your presentations will highlight program successes, provide updates on key initiatives, and drive decisions that keep our client moving forward.
- Partner with L&D teams to identify skills gaps, design targeted training programs, and evaluate effectiveness to support employee growth, focusing on continuous learning and development.
- Help finalize and implement career pathing frameworks to ensure employees have clear growth and development paths, essential for engagement, retention, and fostering a culture of internal mobility.
Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years of HR experience, holding experience within program/project implementation.
- Comfortable with HR systems (ADP is a plus), data tracking, and program measurement.
