Job Description

 

We are working with a valued client seeking a PowerApps Developer to join their team on a remote, 4 year contract. The scope is to enhance business processes using Microsoft Power Platform.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop PowerApps to meet specific functional and business requirements.
  • Ensure the apps are user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.
  • Lead application support activities in order to resolve incidents and identify root causes.
  • Identify and resolve workflow issues.
  • Leverage Power Automate to streamline business processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows to support various business functions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging Power Platform to enhance the work experience.
  • Provide recommendations on best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Assist in the development of a strategic roadmap for Power Platform adoption.
  • Monitor system usage and suggest improvements or upgrades as needed.
  • Demonstrate how to use Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Document all development processes, workflows, and solutions.
  • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all Power Platform activities and projects.
  • Evaluate current configuration and recommend changes, as needed.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • 10 years’ experience as a Programmer/ Analyst, Level 3.
  • experience leading the development of a new application or a major application release (i.e., enhancements) for an application developed on the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • combined experience using Microsoft application development tools with RDBMS databases in:
    1. Application design; and
    2. Application development and Integration.
    1. Using an integrated development environment to create and edit the source code;
    2. Creating and maintaining source code that interacts with an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL);
    3. Leading requirements analysis and technical design sessions and providing technical guidance to programmers; and
  • holds a valid reliability clearance
