Job Description

 

We are working with a valued Federal Government client seeking a Sr HR Consultant (System Integration) to join their team on a remote, 7 month contract.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. HR Working Group Coordination and Reporting:

    • Coordinate and track all activities for the HR working group, including meetings, updates, action items, and reporting progress to the Director and relevant committees.
  2. Comprehensive HR Project Plan and KPI Monitoring:

    • Develop a schematic, plan, and timeline to outline HR project objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking and reporting progress.
  3. Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:

    • Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, communication, and timely updates for the HR project lead and director.
  4. Risk Identification and Mitigation:

    • Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to manage project risks effectively.
  5. Data Migration Oversight and UAT Coordination:

    • Plan, validate, and oversee HR data migration activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT) to confirm the new system meets business requirements.
  6. Training Strategy and Support:

    • Develop a training strategy and plans for project team members and HR staff, ensuring users are trained and supported throughout the transition.
  7. Change Management and Communication Strategy:

    • Collaborate on change management efforts, develop project messaging with internal communications, and support process mapping to facilitate effective transitions.

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Project Management Expertise:

    • Strong background in project management with experience in coordinating complex, cross-functional HR projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Skills:

    • Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Risk and Change Management Proficiency:

    • Experience in identifying project risks and developing mitigation plans, alongside strong change management skills for smooth transitions.
  • Technical Knowledge of Data Migration and System Implementation:

    • Familiarity with data migration processes, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring alignment between systems and business needs.
  • Training and Communication Development Abilities:

    • Ability to design and execute training plans, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills to keep teams informed and engaged.
  •  
    • Holds a valid Reliability clearance
