  • Implement and manage robust internal control systems to safeguard financial assets and mitigate risks.
  • Provide strategic financial oversight, including financial planning, cash flow forecasting, and scenario analysis, aligning with the long-term goals of the family office and its members.
  • Continuously assess and improve financial processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains and implementing changes where needed.
  • Develop and oversee financial risk management strategies, addressing potential financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Support the year-end tax filings for corporate and individual entities, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial tax laws, and providing insight into tax-efficient strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and financial regulations, ensuring best practices are consistently applied across all functions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPA designation is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with strong experience in financial reporting, process improvement, and risk management.
  • Experience supporting a family office or similar high-net-worth entity.
  • Proficiency in French is preferred, but not required.
  • A passion for managing complex financial operations and creating efficient, scalable solutions within a family office environment.

This role is an incredible opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial management, risk mitigation, and system implementation who is looking to step into a leadership position in a high-profile family office setting.
