Job Description

Our private sector client is seeking to fill a Bilingual Customer Service Agent position with enthusiastic and qualified individual. We’re eager to connect and match you based on your expertise and preferences.

Key Requirements:

  • Government Reliability Clearance Eligibility: Candidates must have resided in Canada for the past 5 years to qualify.
  • Location: All roles are fully on-site at the Little Italy area in Ottawa, ON (near Preston Street).
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts between 8 am and 8 pm.
  • Contract Duration: Initial contracts are 11 weeks, with potential extensions or permanent offers based on performance.
  • Notice Periods: Accommodations can be made for candidates requiring a transition period.

Compensation: $20.50/hour


In this position you will be a first point of contact for clients, you'll play a pivotal role in addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring each interaction leaves customers feeling supported and valued. This is a fast-paced role where time flies and weekends are yours to enjoy!

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound communications via phone, email, and online chat, assisting customers with questions about relocation policies.
  • Provide clear, effective solutions to customer inquiries while maintaining a focus on satisfaction.
  • Listen attentively to customer needs, clarify details, and offer personalized support.
  • Research issues thoroughly to deliver accurate and efficient resolutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and address challenges collectively.
  • Foster strong customer relationships by going the extra mile to engage and assist clients.
  • Adapt to additional responsibilities and flexible working hours as needed.
  • Complete administrative tasks to support the contact center's daily operations.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly across various topics.
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist/Customer Service representative.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer engagement.
  • The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
