We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a PIA specialist to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs): This is the core responsibility of a PIA specialist. They assess the privacy risks and implications of new or existing processes, systems, technologies, or initiatives that involve the handling of personal information.
Regulatory Compliance: Staying informed about privacy laws and regulations applicable to the organization's operations. Ensuring that the organization complies with relevant privacy laws such as GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, or other regional and industry-specific regulations.
Policy Development and Review: Developing, updating, and reviewing privacy policies and procedures to ensure they align with current laws, regulations, and organizational practices. Communicating these policies to employees and stakeholders.
