Our client in the financial services and investments industry is looking for a Manager, Transaction Processing to join their team for a full-time permanent role in downtown Toronto. The Manager of Transaction Processing is responsible for effectively managing and leading the Processing function within Client Services. This includes ensuring high-quality transaction processing and throughput, developing and maintaining appropriate controls, planning and optimizing staff utilization, and conducting process reviews and improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 3-5
- Oversee the daily activities of the Transfer Agent Processing department, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of incoming transactions
- Collaborate with senior management to recommend and implement changes aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing risk, and improving employee performance
- Develop and execute departmental goals while contributing to the overall business plan
- Enhance the client experience and support the Voice of the Customer program by understanding client priorities and identifying necessary actions
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
- A degree or diploma in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a mutual fund industry
- 3+ years of leadership experience in the financial services industry
- Excellent planning, preparation, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
