Job Description

Our apparel manufacturing client is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in Etobicoke, ON. 

The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our retail accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth. This role involves sales forecasting, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to meet and exceed sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
  • Work closely with the production, design, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and delivery of customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with retail partners.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably in the apparel, manufacturing or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, market analysis, and retail operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with apparel manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
