Are you a motivated project manager ready to elevate your career? Our client, a leader in the construction and property management sector, is seeking passionate Project Managers to join their dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction and renovation projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
  • Coordinate various project sizes, from inception to completion, while engaging all relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with contractors, professionals, and tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Secure all necessary licenses, permits, and approvals to prevent delays and additional costs.
  • Create detailed project plans to monitor progress and manage any changes in scope, schedule, or budget.
  • Provide consistent updates to stakeholders regarding project strategies and advancements.
  • Manage vendor and supplier contracts, ensuring clear communication of tasks and expectations.
  • Work closely with Territory Managers and site operators on building improvements and equipment upgrades.
  • Prepare proposals for bids and tenders, managing the tendering process with a focus on cost, quality, and safety.
  • Evaluate quotations based on reputation, safety, and quality considerations.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely delivery of necessary resources.
  • Understand shop drawings, change orders, purchase orders, and invoicing processes.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Bluebeam as needed to support project development.
  • Maintain comprehensive project files and handle all administrative tasks.
  • Measure project performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Continuously seek to innovate and enhance processes for the construction team.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • PMP Certification.
  • At least 5 years of proven project management experience in the construction industry (ICI, high-rise, residential, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and procure equipment.
  • Experience leading projects and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.
