Title: Business Development Manager (OEM and Commercial & Industrial)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 140K-160K + 20% Bonus
Travel: Up to 60% within the US & Canada
Job Summary
As the OEM Business Development Manager , you will be responsible for driving growth and product development initiatives within markets served by ASK Products. Your primary objective will be to increase sales of existing products and identify and develop new products/solutions, prioritize, their development and launch them in their respective markets North America of otherwise, while promoting our solutions and products to meet customer needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and launch of OEM & C&I products , to include market research, financial justification developing test markets, and product launch.
- Adaptation of existing Group products to the North American Market.
- Identify opportunities for other products.
- Identify key decision makers within major C&I and OEM customers.
- Identify customer needs and together with the Team develop and implement timely solutions.
- Liaise with industry associations and trade groups to promote products
- Manage the opportunity portfolio within North America.
- Assist in the preparation, development, and follow up of estimates and quotations
- Identify and prioritize market opportunities aligned with the business objectives.
- Promote and position company solutions and products in the market including adaptation of existing Group products to the North American Market.
- Train customers and Group personnel on wildlife protection products.
- Support the Regional Director (DR) in addressing major customer requests.
- Proactively identify future customer needs.
- Conduct competitive market analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with DR to develop market development plans, budgets, and sales forecasts.
Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of the connector market, experience in automotive, truck or OEM Markets preferred.
- Experience in translating market needs into operational strategies.
- Proficiency in managing complex tenders and economic impact assessments.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Master's degree in a technical or Business & Commerce field.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
- Experience in understanding complex tenders and managing project economics.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders.
- Frequent travel within the Americas and internationally as required - 40-60% travel.
- Flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones.
- Collaborative work environment with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
