Primary Responsibilities

• Providing legal counsel to the CEO and executive leadership.
• Leading corporate governance initiatives.
• Overseeing enterprise compliance and ethics programs.
• Managing commercial contracts and contract negotiations.
• Directing litigation strategy and outside counsel.
• Advising on employment law matters.
• Managing food industry regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, labeling, food safety, and related regulations).
• Leading enterprise risk management.
• Supporting mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other corporate transactions.
• Developing and implementing company legal policies and compliance training.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a General Counsel or senior in-house legal executive.
• Deep expertise in corporate governance and compliance.
• Experience managing complex commercial transactions.
• Strong knowledge of litigation management.
• Experience with enterprise risk management.
• Familiarity with privacy and cybersecurity law.
• Experience working with executive teams and boards of directors.
• A Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership.
