Litigation Legal Assistant

Compensation: $6580k + bonus | Full benefits
A highly respected, nationally recognized law firm is seeking to identify an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for their Atlanta office. This is a strong, stable team with a client‑first culture, and theyre looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced litigation environment and brings polished, proactive support to attorneys and paralegals.
This position supports a busy Litigation practice and requires someone who is organized, detail‑driven, and confident managing deadlines, filings, and attorney workflow. Youll handle a blend of administrative, document, and court‑related responsibilities while serving as a key point of contact for clients, court personnel, and internal teams.
Provide high‑touch client service: greeting clients, managing calls, scheduling meetings, and responding to requests with urgency.
Proactively support Litigation attorneys and paralegals, including opening new matters, conflict checks, and time entry.
Prepare, edit, and review letters, memoranda, and legal documents in accordance with firm standards.
Manage deadlines, calendars, and follow‑ups to ensure timely filings and deliverables.
E‑file in State and Federal Courts; draft pleadings, correspondence, and litigation documents.
Interact professionally with court personnel, attorneys, and staff to gather information and resolve issues.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Process reimbursements, payments, and assist with client contact management.
Create, maintain, and retire files in alignment with firm information governance policies.
Support mail processing, document management, and general workflow coordination.
3+ years of Litigation Legal Assistant experience in a law firm or legal setting.
Strong understanding of litigation processes, pleadings, and court operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Kofax/Nuance, InTapp, LMS+, iManage, DocuSign or similar systems strongly preferred.
Ability to read and identify pleadings and litigation documents.
Clear, professional communication skillsboth written and verbal.
Strong reasoning, problem‑solving, and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Solid math skills for date calculations and deadline tracking.
Ability to work with a high level of competency and occasionally exceed 37.5 hours when needed.
Education beyond high school or legal coursework preferred.
