Assistant General Manager

Base Salary Up to $85,000 + Growth Opportunity

A respected and established hospitality group in the Washington, DC market is seeking an Assistant General Manager to join leadership at its newest New American restaurant concept in Chevy Chase.

This is an opportunity to step into a high-volume, polished casual environment built around exceptional hospitality, elevated food and beverage, and becoming a true neighborhood destination.

We are looking for a hospitality-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys developing teams, creating memorable guest experiences, and driving operational excellence.

What You’ll Do:

Support day-to-day restaurant operations and lead from the floor

Drive exceptional guest service and hospitality standards

Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and developing team members

Build schedules and manage labor performance

Coach and develop front-of-house teams

Partner with leadership to maintain operational excellence and profitability

Help foster a positive culture focused on hospitality and community

What We’re Looking For:

Previous leadership experience as an AGM, GM, or senior FOH leader

Strong background in high-volume restaurant operations

Experience with scheduling, labor management, hiring, and training

Passion for hospitality and team development

Experience in upscale casual, chef-driven, or hospitality-focused concepts preferred

Hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills
