Cost Accountant

Location: Near Sullivan, Missouri (Onsite) 

Our growing manufacturing client is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. This position will be responsible for analyzing product costs, maintaining standard costing, monitoring inventory transactions, supporting month-end close activities, and providing financial insights to help drive operational performance.

This role is newly created due to the recent cost accountant being promoted and there is a strong succession plan for this role. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is highly preferred
• 2+ years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
