Controller – Multi-Unit Restaurant Group

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a growing multi-unit restaurant group in Atlanta. This is an exciting opportunity for a financial leader who wants to have a direct impact on operations, profitability, and continued growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role working directly with a hands-on owner and operations teams. The ideal candidate understands restaurant financials, enjoys improving processes, and knows how to provide the financial insight needed to operate successful restaurants.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all accounting and financial operations for a multi-location restaurant company
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Manage P&L analysis and provide insights to improve restaurant performance
• Monitor food cost, labor cost, prime cost, cash flow, and operating metrics
• Partner with operations leaders to identify opportunities and improve profitability
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, banking, reconciliations, and general ledger functions
• Develop financial controls, policies, procedures, and reporting standards
• Support new restaurant openings and continued company growth
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting/finance leadership experience
• Multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or franchise experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of restaurant P&L, labor, inventory, and cost controls
• Experience managing financial reporting across multiple locations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices
• Proven ability to partner with operations teams
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
