Are you a hands-on leader who knows how to create an unforgettable guest experience while driving revenue, supporting a meaningful mission, and developing a high-performing team?

We are seeking a General Manager to lead one of Manhattan’s most exciting family-focused destinations — a large-scale, 40,000-square-foot indoor facility built around fun, creativity, inclusion, and memorable experiences for children and families.

This is an incredible opportunity for a leader with experience in nonprofit organizations, children’s programs, family services, recreation, hospitality, or entertainment who wants to make a positive impact every day.

What We Offer:

✔ Competitive salary: $80K–$90K

✔ Comprehensive benefits package

✔ Mission-driven organization

✔ Incredible company culture

✔ Opportunity to lead a unique, growing concept

✔ High-energy, rewarding work environment

✔ Ability to make a positive impact on children, families, and the community

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead all daily operations of a high-volume family entertainment facility
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and families
  • Support programs designed for children of all abilities and backgrounds
  • Manage, coach, and develop a large multi-department team
  • Drive revenue through memberships, events, partnerships, fundraising opportunities, and community programs
  • Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and local partners
  • Oversee budgets, labor, financial performance, and key operating metrics
  • Maintain the highest standards for safety, cleanliness, and guest experience
  • Create a positive, mission-focused team culture

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit, children’s services, family entertainment, recreation, hospitality, or a related field
  • Experience working directly with children and family-focused programs required
  • Nonprofit experience strongly required
  • Experience managing teams of 20+ employees
  • Strong understanding of community partnerships and mission-driven operations
  • Ability to balance guest experience, team leadership, and financial performance
  • Understanding of budgets, labor management, P&L, and KPIs
  • Proven ability to hire, train, coach, and inspire teams
  • Passion for creating an inclusive environment where children and families thrive

This is not a desk job — we are looking for a compassionate, energetic, hands-on leader who understands both mission and operations.

If you have a passion for serving children and families while leading a growing organization, we would love to connect!
