IT / Engineering Recruiter (Agency Recruiting Environment)
Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and competitive IT / Engineering Recruiter to join a growing recruiting team supporting major client hiring initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, enjoys sourcing and business development-style recruiting, and is motivated by earning potential and career growth.
The team is currently expanding due to increased project demands and is looking to build a strong pipeline of experienced recruiters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hunting for talent, qualifying candidates, and managing recruiting activity in a highly collaborative and performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting for IT, engineering, and functional positions
Source, qualify, and engage candidates through proactive recruiting strategies
Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Partner with hiring leaders and internal teams to support client delivery
Recruit for a variety of positions including technical, project management, and other professional-level roles
Maintain a high level of candidate activity and outreach
Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented recruiting environment
Qualifications
2+ years of recruiting experience required
Experience recruiting within IT, engineering, or technical environments strongly preferred
Agency recruiting experience highly preferred over purely internal/corporate recruiting backgrounds
Experience sourcing and recruiting for functional/professional roles such as Project Managers is a plus
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Competitive, money-motivated mindset with a desire to grow professionally
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Leadership experience is a plus for senior or management-level consideration
Compensation
Mid-Level Recruiter: Approximately $55K base
Senior / Lead Recruiter (Strategic Management Consultant level): Approximately $60K–$65K base
Recruiting Manager level compensation available for qualified leadership candidates
uncapped commission, bonus and/or draw etc. as needed to get to desired OTE
Additional Information
Team currently consists of recruiting and sales professionals in a collaborative structure
Organization is investing heavily in growth and onboarding additional campus hires later this summer
Strong opportunity for advancement as the team continues to expand
Target start date: Mid-June or Mid-July
