Commercial Concrete Superintendent

Pontiac, MI

$100,000–$150,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Full Benefits

A growing commercial concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale foundation and structural concrete projects in the Pontiac, Michigan market.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on construction professional who can drive production, enforce safety standards, manage multiple crews, and keep projects moving on schedule in fast-paced commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all daily field operations including layouts, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pours
• Manage foremen, finishers, laborers, and subcontractors across multiple active job sites
• Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality and production standards
• Enforce MIOSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols
• Read and interpret blueprints, project drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Troubleshoot field issues and maintain strong communication between office and field teams

Requirements:

• 8+ years of commercial concrete construction experience
• 3+ years in a Superintendent or lead field management role
• Strong understanding of commercial foundations and structural concrete work
• Ability to lead crews and manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously
• Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record managing commercial construction schedules and field execution
