Position: Branch Manager / Assistant Branch Manager (Jewelry Retail)
Location: Flushing, NY
Work Type: On-Site
Compensation: $40–$45/hour (equivalent to approx. $83,000–$93,500 annually) + commission & bonus

About Our Client:

Our client is an established international jewelry retailer recognized for its craftsmanship in gold, platinum, and gemstone jewelry. As the company continues to expand across North America, they are seeking a Branch Manager / Assistant Branch Manager to support leadership at their Flushing, New York location.

The successful candidate will lead or assist with leading daily store operations, team management, sales performance, and customer engagement within a fast-paced fine jewelry retail environment.

This location serves a large Mandarin- and Cantonese-speaking customer base. As a result, candidates must be fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, in addition to English, to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead from the front by driving sales and customer engagement
• Motivate and develop a team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Maximize store performance through merchandising, promotions, and team execution
• Oversee daily store operations and maintain a high-performing environment
• Deliver a premium customer experience and build strong client relationships
• Maintain visual merchandising and product presentation standards
• Support hiring, coaching, and performance management of staff
• Monitor inventory and align stock levels with sales trends

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in fine jewelry retail
• Proven management or supervisory experience in a retail environment
• Strong experience selling 24K/18K gold jewelry and high-value products
• Deep understanding of fine jewelry sales and customer buying behavior
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and lead a retail team
• Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, with strong English communication skills
• Comfortable working weekends and rotational shifts
