EXECUTIVE CHEF
An established, chef-driven upscale restaurant concept is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead culinary operations, elevate execution standards, and drive a culture of excellence across the kitchen.
This is an opportunity for a passionate culinary leader who thrives in high-volume, polished environments and understands how to balance creativity, leadership, hospitality, and operational discipline. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in elevated American cuisine, seafood, steak, Italian influence, scratch cooking, and team development.

We are seeking a chef who can lead from the front, inspire teams, maintain standards under pressure, and help continue building one of the area’s most exciting dining destinations.
## What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Overseeing all day-to-day back-of-house operations
- Leading, mentoring, and developing kitchen management and culinary teams
- Driving consistency, execution, cleanliness, and food quality standards
- Managing food cost, labor cost, inventory, and purchasing systems
- Maintaining sanitation, safety, and health department compliance
- Collaborating on menu development, seasonal features, and culinary innovation
- Building prep systems and kitchen organization that support efficiency and execution
- Managing high-volume service while maintaining elevated plating and presentation standards
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining top culinary talent
- Partnering with ownership and leadership to continue growing the culinary identity of the restaurant
## What We’re Looking For
- Executive Chef or high-level Executive Sous Chef experience in upscale, chef-driven restaurants
- Strong background in scratch kitchens and elevated food execution
- Experience with seafood, steak, Italian-inspired cuisine, and high-volume operations preferred
- Proven leadership ability with strong communication and team-building skills
- Financial acumen including food cost, labor management, and inventory controls
- Calm, solutions-oriented leadership style under pressure
- Passion for hospitality, mentorship, and creating an exceptional guest experience through food
- Strong standards surrounding cleanliness, organization, and operational accountability
