A polished, high-energy Italian steakhouse concept in Boston is seeking a CDC / Executive Sous Chef to help lead culinary operations within a fast-paced, highly experiential dining environment focused on elevated hospitality, premium ingredients, hand-crafted execution, and strong team culture.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing all day-to-day kitchen operations and culinary execution
- Lead, coach, train, and develop BOH team members while fostering accountability and professionalism
- Maintain high standards surrounding food quality, presentation, consistency, cleanliness, and execution
- Support labor management, scheduling, inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Partner closely with Executive Chef and leadership team on menu execution, prep systems, and operational improvements
- Ensure smooth service execution during high-volume dinner, weekend, and event-driven business periods
- Maintain sanitation, safety, and health department standards at all times
- Assist with onboarding and development of culinary talent within a collaborative team culture
- Support scratch cooking execution and uphold ingredient-driven culinary standards
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Executive Sous Chef, CDC, or senior kitchen leadership experience within upscale dining, Italian, steakhouse, or chef-driven concepts
- Strong scratch kitchen background required
- Experience leading high-volume service while maintaining strong standards and organization
- Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop BOH teams
- Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, inventory, and kitchen systems
- Professional communication skills and calm leadership presence under pressure
- Passion for hospitality, culinary execution, and team culture
