$137,280 – $171,600 + Relocation if needed

The Opportunity

The EH&S Lead will play a critical role in establishing and leading all environmental, health, and safety programs at the site. This individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance, building a strong safety culture, and partnering across teams to support safe and efficient plant operations.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to build systems, influence culture, and make a lasting impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of all EH&S programs across the site
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulatory requirements
  • Develop safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to embed safety into daily operations
  • Manage environmental permits, reporting, and regulatory inspections
  • Monitor, track, and improve EH&S performance metrics
  • Drive a proactive, behavior-based safety culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
  • 5–10+ years of EH&S experience in manufacturing, chemical, energy, or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
  • Experience leading EH&S programs at the site level
  • Proven ability to influence teams and drive safety initiatives

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in chemical processing or high-hazard environments
  • CSP or CIH certification
  • Startup, greenfield, or rapidly scaling facility experience
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM)
