Compensation: $90-105K + benefits

Our client is a global, tier-one automotive supplier delivering advanced mobility solutions across multiple transportation sectors. With a long-standing reputation for engineering excellence and innovation, they support OEMs, fleets, and dealer networks across North America.

They are seeking a Technical Trainer & Field Support Specialist to support product training, technical troubleshooting, and customer engagement across the U.S. market. This role is ideal for a technically hands-on professional who enjoys working directly with customers, delivering training, and solving real-world mechanical challenges.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver technical training to mechanics, technicians, dealers, and end-users (remote and on-site)
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and field support for heating and HVAC-related systems
• Travel across the U.S. to conduct training sessions, installations, and customer support visits
• Develop and maintain training materials, presentations, webinars, and technical documentation
• Support trade shows, customer demonstrations, and sales initiatives
• Act as a technical resource for internal teams including Sales, Engineering, and Customer Support
• Assist customers and dealer networks in diagnosing and repairing systems
• Collaborate with industry partners and associations to align training standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across training and technical services

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in technical service, mechanical systems, or field support roles
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, fuel-operated heaters, or similar mechanical systems
• Background in automotive, heavy truck, RV, bus, or off-road equipment environments
• Strong ability to train and communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences
• Experience developing technical training materials or delivering structured training programs
• Comfortable with travel across the United States
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
