HR Business Partner
Salary - $130,000

About Our Client:

Our client, a prominent North American manufacturing firm, is looking to hire an HR Business Partner for its affiliate located in Northern California.

Responsibilities:

Partner with plant leadership and supervisors to support business and operational objectives.

Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, attendance, corrective action, and conflict resolution.

Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles.

Advise leaders on HR policies, employment law compliance, and company procedures.

Assist with workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning for manufacturing operations.

Support investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee concerns or workplace issues.

Partner with operations and production leaders to improve employee engagement, morale, and productivity.

Analyze workforce data, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions.

Support change management initiatives, policy implementation, and organizational development projects.

Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Safety, and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure effective employee support.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.

Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and employment practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and HR generalist or HRBP responsibilities.

Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance requirements.

Experience supporting hourly workforces, attendance management, and employee relations issues.

Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
