Business Development Manager
Bloomington, IN | Direct Hire
Compensation: $80,000–$100,000+ OTE (Base + Commission)

About the Opportunity
Our client, a fast-growing commercial landscaping company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business and grow existing accounts. This is a high-earning, high-autonomy role for a motivated sales professional who excels at B2B relationships, cold calling, and full-cycle sales.
Key Responsibilities
Generate $500k–$700k in new contracts annually
Grow $300k–$500k in enhancements and upsells within existing accounts
Manage a total revenue portfolio of $800k–$1.2M
Prospect and build relationships with HOAs, property management companies, and commercial/industrial clients
Handle full sales cycle: prospect, estimate, propose, close, and handoff to operations
Collaborate with operations and admin teams to ensure smooth project execution
Qualifications
3–7+ years in sales, account management, or business development
Proven success in B2B sales, cold calling, and client relationship management
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a large book of business
Professional communicator with strong follow-through
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $55k–$65k
Commission: 2.5%–3.5% on total revenue with unlimited upside
Take-home company truck (fuel, insurance, and maintenance covered)
