Cleveland, OH | Direct Hire | Hybrid

RIM Recruitment is partnering with a respected law firm to identify an experienced Legal Assistant for their Cleveland office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced legal environment, enjoys being the organizational backbone of a busy team, and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service.

This position supports a group of attorneys and paralegals with a blend of administrative, document‑focused, and client‑facing responsibilities. We are seeking a polished professional who is proactive, detail‑driven, and comfortable managing shifting priorities with confidence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, ensuring smooth workflow and timely follow‑through.
  • Review, edit, and proofread legal documents with a sharp eye for accuracy, consistency, and formatting.
  • Manage calendars, deadlines, CLE tracking, reimbursements, and other recurring administrative tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, visitors, court personnel, and internal team members.
  • Coordinate electronic court filings and maintain organized, compliant file systems.
  • Support billing processes, including time entry, preliminary bill review, and communication related to billing updates or inquiries.
  • Anticipate needs, respond quickly to requests, and keep the team informed of upcoming deadlines or required actions.
  • Juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a calm, solutions‑oriented approach.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of Legal Assistant experience in a law firm or similar professional services environment.
  • Strong proofreading, editing, and document‑production skills.
  • High level of professionalism and client‑service orientation.
  • Comfort interacting with attorneys, staff, and court personnel.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Strong organizational instincts and a proactive mindset.
