Controller

A rapidly expanding professional services company in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting operations and partner closely with senior leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys improving processes, and wants to guide a strong accounting team.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls
• Lead and develop a mid-sized accounting team
• Manage multi-state payroll and tax compliance
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
• Strengthen policies, procedures, and project-based accounting practices

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s in Accounting
• 7–12 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong GAAP and revenue recognition knowledge
• Multi-state payroll/tax experience
• Prior team leadership
• ERP experience (Ajera/Deltek or similar)

Preferred: CPA or MBA, experience with S‑Corp structures or cost‑accounting environments
