Account Executive – Technology Staffing (Charlotte, NC | Hybrid)
A nationally recognized professional services and staffing organization is seeking an experienced Account Executive to support continued growth within its technology staffing division in the Charlotte market. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment while maintaining a strong hunter mentality to grow and expand client partnerships.
This position offers the opportunity to step into an established territory with active client agreements while helping rebuild and expand market presence. The team is focused on re-engaging existing clients, developing new relationships, and driving long-term revenue growth.
The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with mid-market and enterprise organizations across the Charlotte area. While there are numerous existing client agreements already in place, success in this role requires a proactive sales approach focused on reactivating dormant accounts, strengthening partnerships, and identifying new opportunities within the market.
Develop and manage client relationships within the Charlotte market
Re-engage existing accounts and expand partnerships through consistent outreach and strategic account development
Identify new business opportunities within both existing and prospective clients
Drive contract and contract-to-hire staffing engagements within the technology space
Collaborate with recruiting teams to deliver qualified talent solutions for clients
Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through account expansion
Maintain strong market presence through networking and business development activities
Charlotte-based accounts across mid-market and enterprise organizations
Established territory with numerous existing client agreements
Focus on rebuilding relationships and expanding revenue within underdeveloped or inactive accounts
3+ years of sales experience required
Staffing industry experience strongly preferred (technology staffing is ideal but other staffing verticals will be considered)
Experience selling contract or contract-to-hire services
Proven ability to build and grow client relationships
Strong hunter mentality combined with strategic account management skills
Comfortable operating in a performance-driven, growth-focused sales environment
Hybrid schedule with a mix of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility
