Position Title: Junior Scheduler
Location: Los Angeles, California
Work Type: Full-time, On-site (No Hybrid/Remote Option)
Compensation: $146,000 per year + Comprehensive Benefits
About the Opportunity:
Our client is a construction management firm supporting a large K–12 capital improvement program in Los Angeles. They are seeking a Junior Construction Scheduler to support program-level scheduling oversight, contractor schedule review, and reporting functions within a structured public-sector environment.
This is a full-time, 100% on-site role in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contractor-generated baseline schedules and monthly updates
- Provide schedule review comments using established templates
- Assist in developing and populating schedule reports using Primavera P6 and Excel
- Create Earned Value Analysis (EVA) curves using program templates
- Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals
- Validate logic ties and ensure compliance with scheduling guidelines
- Ensure proper use of program-level coding structures and data integrity
- Update master program schedules with as-built and forecasted dates
- Coordinate schedule inputs with facilities and project teams
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
(Applicants must meet ALL of the following. Only Construction Schedulers will be considered.)
- Minimum 1 year of full-time professional scheduling experience for an Owner or General Contractor
- Experience on educational facilities or public works projects (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Ability to work full-time, on-site in Los Angeles
Required Skills:
- Strong construction schedule analysis capabilities
- Experience reviewing contractor baseline and update schedules
- Knowledge of schedule logic, coding structures, and QA/QC procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with project and facilities teams
- High level of organization and attention to detail
