Compensation: $125 -145,000 + incentive compensation

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a global, tier-one automotive supplier delivering advanced solutions for commercial, fleet, and specialty vehicle applications. They are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to establish, develop, and grow key national customer relationships, driving long-term partnerships and sustainable revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary commercial interface between customers and internal sales, marketing, finance, and product teams
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with national accounts across commercial and transportation-related segments
• Create and execute customer-specific sales strategies focused on long-term growth and account expansion
• Negotiate pricing structures, commercial agreements, and contract terms aligned with market conditions
• Identify customer needs and align solutions to operational and business requirements
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and evolving market dynamics to adjust sales strategies
• Support digitalization initiatives and process optimization within commercial sales operations
• Drive the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract execution

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Automotive Management, or a related discipline
• Several years of experience in B2B or strategic account sales within the automotive, mobility, or transportation sectors
• Proven ability to develop and grow national or multi-location customer accounts
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
• Solid understanding of technical systems and digital business models
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, structured reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 80%
