Our client is a global, tier-one technology manufacturer and automotive supplier, delivering advanced energy and power solutions for mobility and industrial applications. They are seeking a Sales Engineer to act as a technical interface between customers and internal engineering and product teams, supporting solution development and commercial expansion across key market segments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the technical interface between customers and internal engineering, product, and sales teams
- Develop and manage relationships with key accounts across fleet, utility, cargo, RV, ambulance, and public safety segments
- Identify customer challenges and propose application-specific energy and power solutions
- Lead technical discussions, solution definition, and application feasibility assessments
- Support product testing, validation, and implementation activities
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and solution documentation
- Support new programs from concept through implementation
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong technical foundation combined with a customer-facing, consultative mindset
- Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or solution engineering roles
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems, structured reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
