About the Opportunity:
Our client is a construction management firm supporting a large K-12 capital improvement and facilities modernization program in Los Angeles. They are seeking an Associate Scheduler to support owner-side schedule review, analysis, and reporting across multiple active school construction projects. This role focuses on schedule validation, critical path analysis, and compliance review of contractor-submitted schedules using Primavera P6, supporting project managers and program leadership in monitoring schedule performance. This is a full-time, on-site role within a regulated public-sector environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Review contractor Primavera P6 baseline construction schedules for completeness, logic, milestones, and critical path
Review monthly contractor schedule updates and document milestone slippage and critical path impacts
Prepare written schedule review comments using structured owner templates
Analyze critical path activities and schedule variances
Create activity filters, layouts, and bar charts in Primavera P6 to support schedule analysis
Perform QA/QC reviews of contractor schedule submittals for contract and guideline compliance
Validate logic ties, coding structures, and program-level scheduling standards
Develop earned value curves in accordance with owner templates
Prepare schedule reports and assist with program-level schedule reporting
Support scheduling management and project teams as needed
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in construction scheduling
Experience supporting schedules for owner, construction manager, or general contractor
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest version)
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Ability to work on-site full time in Los Angeles
Required Skills:
Primavera P6 schedule analysis
Critical path and milestone tracking
Schedule QA/QC and compliance review
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
