Job Description

CNC Machinist Weekends only –
Location: Salt Lake City, UT, 84101
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary $20-40/ hr
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – working 12 hours a day but paid for 40 hours for the week.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain CNC machines to perform precision machining tasks.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment.
- Monitor the machining process and make necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality output.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work swing shift hours.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or associate degree in machining or related field preferred.
