Our client provides a multitude of financial services to their national customer base. Headquartered in the Irving/Las Colinas area, they are seeking several Early Stage Collections Representatives to join their growing team. Training will begin on December 8 in office for approximately 4 weeks. Then the role moves to fully remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced, goal-oriented collections department.
Provide customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, and resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
Monitor and maintain assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations, and processing credit memos.
Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts.
Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Collections Department.
High volume phone calls to assigned delinquent customers
Reconcile customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due
Provide excellent & considerate customer service
Meet defined department goals and activity metrics
QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of high-volume customer service in a call center environment.
Collections experience preferred
Ability to learn Billing and Collections procedures, including FDCPA regulations
Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
Experience with dialer system and manual calls
Commitment to excellent customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Basic math and computer skills, including ten-key, typing, and navigating between multiple programs
High School diploma or equivalent
OTHER DETAILS
$17.00/HR + monthly commissions after training; rate increase after conversion Eligible for Bonuses before conversion which increases after conversion plus added company benefits
Two schedules are available: :
12-9P Monday - Wednesday; Thursday and Friday 10-7P (2 spots).
10-7P Monday - Friday (one Saturday per month from 8-12P). This schedule also requires one late night shift per week, from 12-9P either Tues or Wed (2 spots).
Training conducted ON-SITE for 4 weeks; 9 am -6 pm Temp to perm opportunity. Regular work schedule includes some holidays as well Training starts on Monday, December 8
