Job Description

Our client provides a multitude of financial services to their national customer
base. Headquartered in the Irving/Las Colinas area, they are seeking several experienced Collection Representatives to join their growing team. Training will begin on November 17 in office for approximately 4 weeks. Then the role moves to fully remote.

Responsibilities

Attempt to obtain payments from customers and businesses by way of manual
calls from a pipeline of delinquent accounts.
Maintain excellent customer service while meeting the minimum daily and
monthly quotas.
Verify customer demographics, contact data, and identify reason for
delinquency.
Encourage debtors to pay past due amounts and/or arrange for future payments
within federal guidelines.
Accurately document and notate cases of collection activity in company
systems.
Research transactions, disputes, history, and report corrections.
Perform skip tracing when necessary.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years of experience in collections
Commercial collections a plus but not required
Ability to communicate professionally with all departments of businesses
including CEOs, Controllers, HR, Payroll, etc.
Ability to multi-task in a manual call center environment
Knowledge of fair collection practices as outlined by the FDCPA and UDAAP
Skip tracing experience
General computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel

Other Details

$17 per hour + Commission after training concludes
Schedule: Monday - 10am-7pm / Tuesday-Friday - 9am-6pm
2 Saturdays/month (3 hours).
Temp to perm opportunity
Training is on site for 4 weeks, then work from home
