Pipeline Operators – Gas or Crude
Field-based, multiple sites and terminals – 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off in the Delaware Basin (West Texas)
We are seeking experienced Pipeline Operators to support either gas or crude operations. These roles involve hands-on work with pipeline systems, LACT units, and terminal equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Operators will coordinate with cross-functional teams, respond to field conditions, and support maintenance and commissioning activities.
Crude Pipeline Operator Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain LACT units and liquid storage tanks
- Perform oil sample grind outs and witness meter provings
- Monitor tank fill rates, pressures, and inventory
- Assist with pipeline maintenance and ROW inspections
- Support product quality and compliance documentation
Gas Pipeline Operator Responsibilities
- Perform pressure drop calculations and line volume tracking
- Lead or support commissioning of new equipment and manage PSSR follow-ups
- Coordinate contract work for pigging, proving, and pipeline maintenance
- Maintain equipment records and preventive maintenance logs
- Supervise or assist gas operations crews as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of pipeline operations experience
- Knowledge of pipeline operations, leak repair, pigging, and hot tapping
- Familiarity with gas and crude systems, safety protocols, and documentation
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work independently in field settings
