Project Accountant

Our client is looking for a Project Accountant to join their development team. This role plays a key part in managing financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability analysis for large-scale real estate projects. What You’ll Do:

• Build financial models to evaluate project costs, pricing, and profitability.
• Track and analyze expenses to ensure budgets are met.
• Manage construction loan draws and work directly with banks.
• Partner with operations and construction teams on forecasting and budget reviews.
• Support the Controller with budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, P&L, and balance sheet statements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide insights to leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with real estate development or large projects.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Sage 300 experience is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
