Responsibilities
Prepare schedule data for programs, projects, proposals, and contract negotiations
Establish and maintain schedules for assigned discipline areas or specialties
Develop schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS), activity durations, workflow logic, and job expenditures
Monitor schedules, identify critical activities, and perform updates across assigned applications or disciplines
Develop and maintain critical path schedules, reports, and performance metrics
Identify and report activities with potential schedule impacts
Monitor, validate, and evaluate subcontractor schedules for improvements or workarounds
Present schedule information and performance reports in internal and external meetings
Support recovery planning efforts to address schedule risks and delays
Perform schedule analysis using Earned Value techniques to inform program management
Travel as required for business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of project management scheduling experience preferred
PMI-SP or PMI-EVMP certification is a plus
Experience with aerospace or Department of Defense acquisition program planning and scheduling
Proficiency in schedule development, control, and analysis
Advanced knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft Project or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes
Knowledge of engineering and defense capability development gained through training or experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to urgent requests and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
U.S. Citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (subject to investigation and eligibility requirements)
