Responsibilities:
- Lead the sanitation team, ensuring effective cleaning procedures are followed throughout the facility.
- Develop and implement sanitation protocols in accordance with SQF standards to ensure product safety and quality.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to resolve sanitation related issues and improve overall cleanliness and hygiene.
- Train and mentor sanitation staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules and inspection reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sanitation leadership role within the food industry.
- Proven experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of SQF standards and food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and supervision skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
