Gallery Director – Fine Art & Luxury Sales
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Cultural District / West 7th)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $50,000–$80,000 base + 6–7% commission

Our client is a 6,700+ sq ft fine art gallery in the heart of Fort Worth’s vibrant cultural corridor. Representing a world-renowned photographer, along with an evolving collection of original artworks and one-of-a-kind, handcrafted furniture pieces, the gallery offers a sophisticated blend of high art and luxury lifestyle.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a gallery that celebrates creativity, design, and high-touch client experiences. The Gallery Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the gallery’s growth, reputation, and impact within the community.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Client Development
• Drive fine art, photography, and luxury furnishings sales while meeting and exceeding monthly and annual targets
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with collectors, designers, and community partners
• Manage VIP client outreach, follow-up, and CRM tracking to ensure exceptional client care
• Represent the gallery’s full collection with expertise and professionalism
Gallery Operations & Curation
• Lead daily gallery operations, ensuring a polished, engaging, and visually compelling environment
• Collaborate with ownership to curate exhibitions, refresh layouts, and enhance display presentations
• Oversee installations, lighting, and exhibition changes to highlight works effectively
Team & Vendor Management
• Mentor and manage gallery associates, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture
• Coordinate with vendors, framers, shippers, and artists for consignments, inventory, and deliveries
• Ensure smooth operations through scheduling, staffing, and quality control
Brand Presence & Event Strategy
• Plan and host gallery openings, private events, and client experiences that build visibility and community engagement
• Partner with marketing teams on local outreach, digital campaigns, and brand alignment
• Represent the gallery at off-site cultural and design events when appropriate

Qualifications
• 5+ years of success in high-end or luxury sales (fine art, jewelry, fashion, or interior design a plus)
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals while building lasting client relationships
• Strong leadership and team management experience
• Keen eye for design, visual presentation, and curation
• Event planning and client hosting experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Tech-savvy with POS, CRM, and inventory systems
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Connections within the local art or cultural community a plus
