Energetic Engineer
Seeking an experienced Energetics Engineer with subject matter expertise in the development and qualification of aerospace-related pyrotechnic and energetic components such as gas generators, initiators, and igniters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop product requirements and technical specifications; manage verification activities throughout the product life cycle.
- Interpret and apply relevant government regulations, standards, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to the design, analysis, and manufacturing of energetic components and propellants.
- Plan, execute, and analyze qualification and development tests for energetic systems.
- Prepare, document, and present test plans, technical reports, and data summaries to key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the development and qualification of energetic components.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Systems or Project Management).
- Solid understanding of Requirements Verification and Validation (RV&V) processes.
- Proficient organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-resolution skills.
- Strong technical writing capabilities and proficiency in preparing documentation and reports.
- Familiarity with ammunition and explosive certification processes and related regulatory environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
