Job Description

Our client, an established, multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead its marketing and business development initiatives. This strategic role is responsible for guiding the firm’s marketing efforts, overseeing the creation of high-impact proposals and presentation materials, managing digital communication strategies, and driving overall business development support.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for storytelling, design, and client engagement within the Architecture, Engineering or Construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and production of qualifications packages, proposals, award submittals, and presentation materials.

Design and develop marketing collateral and coordinate efforts with internal teams.

Maintain and manage marketing databases, including Deltek/Vision CRM.

Collaborate with project teams to organize and categorize photography and project documentation.

Draft, format, and distribute communications such as letters, emails, and presentations.

Provide administrative and creative support for marketing meetings and client presentations.

Coordinate and develop firm-wide project descriptions, staff resumes, and company profiles.

Manage and grow the firm's presence across social media platforms and website content.

Preferred Qualifications:
5–10 years of marketing experience, ideally within the A/E/C or professional services industry.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office.

Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Deltek/Vision.

Strong written and visual communication skills.

Highly organized self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
