Mechanical Estimator

$$$ - $65-110K

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Estimator with strong Excel skills and a proven track record in project bidding and change order management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident interpreting blueprints, collaborating cross-functionally, and delivering precise cost estimates.

�� Key Responsibilities:

• Develop accurate, competitive cost estimates for mechanical and industrial projects
• Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to perform material and labor takeoffs
• Prepare, track, and manage change orders across the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient bid submissions
• Support continuous improvement efforts, technical development, and uphold safety standards

✅ Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field — or equivalent hands-on industry experience
• 2+ years of estimating experience, ideally in mechanical or industrial project environments
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, data analysis, formatting)
• Strong blueprint reading and technical analysis abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

⭐ Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hydro-technology, mining, industrial equipment repair, or other heavy industries
• Familiarity with takeoff software or estimating tools
• Working knowledge of ERP systems or estimating platforms
